    I have a best friend. Her name is Kate. In some ways we look the same and in some ways we look different. We have some things in common.

We both have black eyes and black hair, although my hair is longer than hers. We both like reading and listening to music.

She is taller and quieter than me. She is very careful. I’m a little more outgoing than her. I am also funnier than her.  

But she is more beautiful than me. I think I’m smarter than her. My favorite subject is science, and her favorite subject is Chinese.
