Every year on my birthday, from the time I turned 12,a white gardenia（栀子花）was sent to my house. No card came with it．Calls to the flower shops were not helpful at all. Lang Lang is a world-class young pianist who grew up in Shenyang. He went to a piano school in Beijing when he was just eight, "You need fortune(运气)，" his father said. "But you work hard, no fortune will come."
