After a long day’s study at school, you are very tired. So after school you go home to relax. When you get home, a robot greets you. He’s happy to see you and helps you take your school things to your room. He listens to you talk about your school life and tells you a new joke. Molly was eight years old. This year she spent the summer with her Aunt Cathy. Her parents took a six-week trip to Europe and let Molly stay at her aunt’ s house. She was very unhappy, because she couldn’t spend the summer with her friends at the neighborhood pool like she did every summer.
Molly’s Aunt Cathy did everything to make her happy. She took Molly to the park, the zoo, and even took her shopping, but nothing made Molly happy.
One afternoon, Aunt Cathy was working in her garden. She found that Molly was watching her. “Come and help me, Molly,” Aunt Cathy said. Molly slowly walked out to the garden and began looking closely at the flowers.
“What kind are these?” Molly asked. She pointed (指) to some small yellow flowers.
“Those are called snapdragons (金鱼草),” Aunt Cathy answered. “Do you want to grow some flowers?”
“Yes,” Molly said.

I didn’t make much money when I took the job in London. I always had simple meals.
One night, I felt very tired, so I sat outside in a small park and began to eat a small piece of bread.
A tall man who was not dressed well walked to me. He thought I had money and asked, “Sir, could you please give me some money?”
I said, “I don’t have any.”
He said, “I know the persons like you wouldn’t give anybody anything.”
I became very angry because he didn’t believe me. I looked at him and gave my wallet to him, “Look in my wallet.”
He then said “sorry” to me and opened his wallet and said, “Here I will give you some.”
I looked at him in surprise and said, “No, thank you.” And then I walked away.
