New traffic laws(交通法)say that if people cross the street when the light is red, they can be fined as much as 50 yuan.

The law has new rules for drivers and pedestrians (行人). Drivers have to slow down when they are close to crosswalks. If people are in a crosswalk, cars must stop to let them pass.

Jay, an American, wanted to write a book about famous churches (教堂)around the world. Firstly, Jay bought a plane ticket and took a trip to Columbus, Ohio, USA, thinking that he would start by working his way across the USA from East to West.
