书面表达

如今网络已经对人们产生了很大影响,对中学生影响尤其之深。有人认为网络的利大于弊,有人认为网络的弊大于利。请以“Advantages and Disadvantages of the Internet”为题,用英语写一篇文章,结合实际情况谈谈你的看法

One possible version: Advantages and Disadvantages of the Internet There is no doubt that we have benefited a lot from the Internet in our everyday life We can read news, watch films, keep in touch with our relatives, make friends, or play games to get relaxed on the Internet. But every coin has two sides. The Internet also has bad effects on people, especially on teenagers. Things such as violence and cheating, often appear on the Internet seriously polluting their hearts and soul. Consequently, children will gradually lose interest in their studies. Now,it's high time the government took effective measures. Some websites that disobey the rules should be made public and closed up. As students, we should protect ourselves by keeping on guard against the bad effects of the Internet. I'm sure we will have a better online environment soon so that the Internet can serve us better 【解析】 试题分析:本篇书面表达是学生们非常熟悉的话题,对此学生都有亲身体会和感受,所以不会无话可说。 There is no doubt that we have benefited…But every coin has two sides.和it's high time the government took effective measures.三个经典的句型不仅起到承上启下、连接语篇的作用,而且也显示了作者对语言较高的灵活运用能力。此外,benefit 、consequently、effective等高级词汇的使用也提升了作文的档次。 考点:考查提纲作文。

A recent report from China Daily says that about 18% of our teenagers can have problems with their minds. Some students become worried because they have to study very hard. Others have trouble getting on well with others.

Zhang Qiang, a Junior 2 student from Sichuan, could not understand his teachers in class and was doing badly in his lessons. He was afraid of exams. When he looked at the exam paper, he would be very nervous and couldn’t think of anything to write.

Another student, a 15-year-old girl called Wu Yan from Guangdong often argued with her classmates even her parents because of some different ideas. She became so angry with them that she started to cut her finger with a knife.

However, many students who have problems won’t go for advice or help. Some think they will look strange if they go to see a doctor. Others don’t want to talk about their secrets. In order to solve the teenagers’ problems, here is some advice:

●Talk to your parents, teachers or friends often and ask them for help.

●Take part in group activities and play sports.

●Go to see a doctor if the problem seems to be serious.

Everyone wants to be good-looking. We usually worry too much about how we look. Then how important is our appearance?     1.   Do you think beautiful people are always happier people?

2.  Because some people may be more interested in looking at you than talking to you. They think of you as a picture rather than a person. There are also some people who think that women who are exceptionally(格外地) pretty and men who are particularly handsome must be stupid. 3.       .

4.   No one wants to have a face that even his mother doesn’t want to look at. As a matter of fact, most of the people are plain----that is, to be neither attractive nor unattractive, and have a face that is easily forgotten.

Then maybe the best thing is not to worry too much about how you look, but simply try to be an interesting person. For interesting people are almost always attractive and unforgettable.     5.   It can help you find happiness.

Who wants to carry a bulky bag to school? No children. Nobody wants one shoulder to be lower than the other, and paining, too. In India, most of people would look at the reduction(减少) of textbooks as a way out. But in a country like America, there are always more choices. A company called goReader has created a “school bag” which is the size of a laptop computer, weighing about 1.5 kg. The goReader has a color screen and can “hold” all the textbooks that a student may need, says a report in The Asian Age newspaper.

The company plans to work closely with the publishers(出版商) of textbooks so that these books can be supplied on the Internet. All the students will have to do is to download their textbooks from the Internet. Taking notes and marking important parts of a lesson can be done just as lots of students have done on their textbooks before.

At present, the plan is being tested out in a university. Richard Katzmann, the owner of this company is having his creation tested at Chicago's DePaul University, where he studied. Does that mean it is goodbye to the new paper, and the smell of the black ink?
