Homework of foreign students
Some teachers ask students to write some special articles just like The Yesterday and Today of Chinese and What do You Think of Chinese Culture. The students have several days to finish the homework. Some students can finish it well. Their homework is just like books.
The students also have another kind of interesting homework: the teachers may ask them to write some different poems. The teachers think it can make students creative.
We can find other kinds of homework. One of them is doing research and writing a report about something. Homework will be a report about the US history or other things. Students may use the Internet and look for information in at least three books from the school library to finish homework. They are very cool. They are just like the real writer and scientist.
Students sometimes do homework together in groups. They call these groups study groups. American boys and girls often make friends or do other interesting activities in the study groups. They prefer to talk to their friends rather than do any work. Boys may play jokes on others and girls prefer talking to other girls. They also learn more from each other.
