Can we make animals work for us? Some scientists think that one day we can teach animals to do a lot of things for people. They say that in a film or on TV you may see elephants, monkeys, dogs or some other animals doing a lot of things. In the north of Scotland there is a lake called Loch Ness. It’s the deepest lake in the UK. People say a big monster (妖怪) lives in the water. It weighs at least 1,000 kilos. A lot of people went to Loch Ness to look for this strange monster, but only a few people said they saw it. Nobody knows if they really saw it.
The Loch Ness Monster is a famous story. People first told it over 500 years ago, but it became popular later. In 1993, somebody said he saw a big monster in the middle of the lake.
