Li Yaotang is regarded as one of the most important and widely-read Chinese writers in the 20th century. He wrote under the pen name of Ba Jin. He started writing his first work in the late 1920s. Li was born in Chengdu, Sichuan. He was born in a rich family of officials. As a child, Li was taught to read and write by his mother. In 1920, Li entered Chengdu Foreign Language School to study English. Three years later, Li moved to Shanghai and studied in Dongnan University. Mistakes are great teachers
Mistakes are great teachers. Success comes to those who are willing to risk making mistakes to achieve their goals and wishes, and who are able to learn from those mistakes. And in order to learn from mistakes, you must be willing to pay for them.

“Save the whales!” That’s what the picture on Jake Smith’s bedroom wall said. Jake liked having a picture that said something important: that showed he cared. He just never expected to get a chance to save a real whale, one right in his own neighbourhood.
