Traveling is an exciting experience. It makes us feel pleased, and enjoy new wonders and new part of life that we’ve never known. A single holiday trip can give you the freedom and the chance to make changes that daily life does not allow. 1. It is all in what you make out of it. Any travel can be interesting and attractive, and give you memories to last a lifetime.
2. Many people say that a bit of a planning and research before you leave can make sure of those long-lasting memories. But why not try something unexpected? In fact, the most unforgettable moments of a travel experience are the ones that you don’t plan for. 3. But this experience will make sure you discover little-known shops or an open-air theater production that is only advertised in the local paper.
You’ll find the enjoyable moments happening all around you: a wonderful sunset or a small child playing in the water on a road. 4. Take time to go for a long walk for enjoyment when visiting a new place, which will allow you to listen, smell, and see the different culture and sights that your busy life may stop you from enjoying.
5. Collect small things such as leaves, stones, or feathers, which can be turned into memorable works of art when you get back home.

In 2010, writer Ding Yan made a decision to leave her hometown in west China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region for Dongguan, a manufacturing(制造业) capital in south China’s Guangdong Province. She wanted to experience and write about the lives of the city’s factory girls who keep the production lines (生产线) moving.
For almost a year, Ding worked at two electronics factories and a CD packaging factory. It was a difficult experience for a woman in her forties. Every day, she would put a small notebook and pen into her pocket secretly before starting her work. Much of the book was written during her short toilet breaks at work. From her experiences and the stories of the women she met came a book, Factory Girls, which came out at the end of this April.
Factory Girls describes what life is like on the production line. It describes how the women stand all day, doing the same work. They sometimes chat quietly. One time, Ding was working next to a girl who told her, "I really wish the production line could just stop a moment for me to take a breath (呼吸). "
Ding said, "When I really thought about it, I came to realize that there was no difference between the factory girls and me. Although I don’t work physically as hard as they do to make a living, we are all experiencing the same helpless feeling towards life. Sadness and happiness are often talked about by people in their spare time. Most people want themselves to be happy for ever, but few know how to find happiness. Others say if you own lots of money and success, you will be happy. However, money and success alone do not bring lasting happiness.
