Team games are important in school life. They help the children learn the importance of working together for a common goal. Team building activities help the students understand themselves and give them an opportunity to improve on their weakness.
Build a Story: This team game is about building a story form some pictures. Each team is supposed to build a story according to the picture given to each of its members. On understanding what each picture means, the team needs to put the pictures in order. The team that is the first to build the story wins.
Team Craft（剪纸）: For this activity, the class is put into groups of four members. Each team is given some art materials like color pens, art paper and a knife. Each team should come up with something creative and special. The one who finishes first or does best in making craft will be the winner.
Team Sports: Outdoor activities and sports are some of the best team games for schools. Volleyball, soccer and basketball are some of the very interesting team games. Exercise mixed with fun is one of the most important interests of playing sports.
Dog and the Bone: This game is played between two teams. The teams line up in front of each other. In team A, each team member is given a different number. The same numbers are used for team B. An object is placed in an area between the two teams. The host（主持人）of the game calls out a number, the members with the same number from both teams rush to get the object. The member, who gets the “bone” first, make a point for his/her team.

Have you ever been on a student exchange program? How useful was it? We asked three people for their opinions.
Ellen
I spent 8 days in Germany when I was studying for my Level A. I went to school every day, and spent the evenings with a family. It was great because I had to speak German all the time. However, the most useful thing was that I was paying more attention to communicating in the language, instead of speaking perfectly correct German. I was really glad that people could understand what I was saying. I’d certainly introduce it to other students studying languages.

I went on an exchange with my class for a week in Japan. Before the exchange, I thought my understanding of grammar was pretty good, but I had much trouble listening and speaking. So, what I thought most meaningful was that I had no choice but to use everyday language skills, rather than the language from books. If I had the opportunity, I’d certainly take part in another language exchange.

I took part in a French exchange. It lasted two weeks and I stayed with my exchange family in a small town just outside Paris. I’m quite a shy person, so in the first few days, I was kind of nervous, but then it was fine. I love French and my French has always been good. But the exchange really helped develop my speaking skills, and made me a much more confident person. It felt great to be able to talk with French people. I also found that everyone who took part in the exchange did a lot better in their end-of-year exams.

Every day there is less and less space on Earth for rubbish. Yet every day we make more and more rubbish. What can we do? We can recycle some of our rubbish. Recycling means that the rubbish will be made into something that can be used again.
Recycling helps Earth. And it saves space in rubbish dumps. Half of everything that we put into landfills could be recycled instead. In fact, most things made of paper, metal, glass and plastic can be recycled.
Paper can be broken into small pieces and made into new paper. Steel and aluminum cans（金属雄）can be melted down（熔化）and made into new cans. The same is true of glass bottles. This can be done aver and over again. Recycling doesn't take as much energy as making these things the first time. So we can use less of Earth's fuel resources.
Plastic can be melted down, too. Then it can be formed into park benches, playgrounds and so on. Some people call plastic the "wood" of the future. Things made of plastic will last about 400 years-even if they stay outside in the weather. No wood can do that!
