Bill Gates, one of the founders of Microsoft, has many admirers. So does his house.
Gates lives in a mansion(豪宅) which lies in Medina, Washington. It covers over 66,000 square feet and overlooks Lake Washington. In the house, there are 7 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms 6 fireplaces, 6 kitchens and a 1000-square-foot dining room. Nicknamed Xanadu(昵称世外桃源) 2.0, it took seven years to build the house and it is worth about $148 million.
Gates’ background allowed him to design(设计) his house with all kinds of high-tech equipment(设备). Hidden cameras and floor sensors(传感器) are everywhere.
