Here we'll learn something about two great composers (作曲家) who have had influenced on our life. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in Austria in January, 1756. In his early years, he showed amazing ability. Along with music, he learned languages and school subjects from his father. He wrote hundreds of beautiful pieces of music. But he became poor and lived a lonely life. People regarded Mozart as the greatest European classical musician.
On the 25th day of the tenth month in 1825, another great composer, Johann Strauss II, was born in Austria. His father did not want him to become a musician. Thanks to his mother, he could work as a composer and lived a rich life full of happiness. He wrote more than 400 waltzes (圆舞曲) and was known as "The WaltzKing".
