Northeast Normal University organized some activities to popularize (普及) the theory of Marxism (马克思主义理论). They tried to turn theory into practice by these activities. Karl Marx was one of the great philosophers (哲学) in the world. He was from Germany but played an important part in China.

Pang Lisheng was a teacher of Northeast Normal University. He said, as a result of the activities, college students had more interest in learning the theory of Marxism. A new study shows that, of all the pet owners (宠物主人), almost 77% of them keep dogs as pets, 21% cats, and only 2% rabbits (兔子). It is not difficult to find out that in the world of pets, dogs are the most popular ones.
