Whether you like classical music or pop music, there is one thing I think we can all agree on. Music makes life better and it's not just in the ways we think.
• Listening to Music Reduces Stress A lot of us choose relaxing music without thinking when we are feeling stressed or tired. In particular, slow and quiet classical music can calm people down. So if you have a hard time dealing with stress, listening to some fitting classical songs could be a good idea.
• Singing With a Group of People Makes You Happier Even though people that sing in a group look a bit...too happy? Science actually explains what makes them so happy. And the best part of it is—even lessthangreat singers experienced the same great effects.
What does this mean for you? Hopefully, the next time you get the chance to have a singalong with someone else, you take it, instead of being shy. It's very likely to cheer you up!
•It Improves Your Memory The interesting part about the research is that it shows music helps your brain develop in different areas, especially your memory. So if you're troubled by a bad memory, learning to play an instrument is something you should consider.
•It Can Make You Healthier Listening to music can release dopamine(多巴胺)— “the chemical pleasure”. And some researchers suggest that listening to music can make you healthier. Enjoying__music__can__give__you__as__much__pleasure__as__having__delicious__food. And you will never worry about being fat.
