Several years ago, when a foreigner appeared in China, many people would gather round and stare at him or her for a while. Nowadays, however, it’s common to see foreifgers here. It’s a trend mow that Chinese schools emply foreign teachers in the hope of improving students’ spoken English. There’s no doubt that foreigh teachers can help make the school famous. Besides, it’s helpful to improve our spoken English and know more about foreign culture. On the other hand, it’s expensive to emply foreign teachers. And there’s a high chance that they can’t get used to our way of life and know little about the way in which we Chinese students learn languages. I believe there’s no short cut in learning English. We should depend on ourselves. Only by practising more can we make greater progress in English. 【解析】略
