Dear Mr. Smith,
I’m very much glad to hear that your shopping centre will build non-smoking supermarket. In my opinion, it’s a good idea to do so, for it can not only help the smokers to smoke less, and it can also do good to other customers’ health. Since you had given up selling cigarettes, the customers don’t like smoking are sure to support you. In addition, smoke in the shopping centre may cause fire, which is dangerous to both your possessions and the safe of the customers. In a word, the non-smoking supermarket will not effect your business. To the contrary, it will help you attract more customers who want to keep health.
Best wishes!

In times of economic downturn, many people start to look for ways to reduce their household budget and save extra cash. Living a thrifty (节俭的) lifestyle does not have to mean doing nothing. 1. Here are some tips.
Track your spending for at least 2 weeks. You won’t really know how to live a thriftier lifestyle until you know where your money is going. Write down every time you spend money and take a look at it at the end of the month. 2.
Search the Internet when you have to buy something. Because of the easy access to information, you can compare prices from more stores in less time.
3. Combining producers’ coupons (优惠券) with store discounts can lead to major savings.
Turn off the lights and other electronics in your home when you are not using them. 4. Leaving electronics on can use a tremendous amount of extra energy, costing you money.
5. When you do have to go out, look for available deals and discounts. If you are a frequent restaurant diner, consider purchasing a guide book for local restaurants, which will help you save money.
A. Eat at home as often as possible.
B. You probably don’t really need 500 channels.
C. If you really can’t live without it, call the company.
D. Open a window and let in the natural light instead.
E. In this way, you will see obvious ways to reduce the small daily expenses.
F. So check your local stores as well as online providers to find the best price.
G. Instead, making small changes will allow you to save money and still enjoy yourself.

Hi, everyone. What would you miss most and least if you were stuck on a desert island? For me, it would be the changing seasons in New England. I guess this will sound stupid but I’d probably miss the rain, too. I wouldn’t miss getting up at six every day to go to work, though! What about you? |

Good question. Steve, I think I’d miss different types of bread, and shopping at the supermarket. I’d miss the food most. What would I miss least? My mobile phone---I’d like to be completely quiet --- at least for a little while |
Post 3 Paola Italy |
I would miss the company of people because I know I’d like to have someone to share experiences with. I’d go mad on my own. And I sure wouldn’t miss junk mail(垃圾邮件) --- I hate coming home every evening and a pile of junk mail in my post box. |

Hi, I would miss Manga cartoon, the Internet and Japanese food, like sushi. I’d also miss TV shows and shopping for clothes… |
Post 5 Roger UK |
I would miss my daily newspaper and listening to the news on TV and radio. I’d feel very cut off if I didn’t know what was happening in the world. What I’d miss least would be traffic jams in the city, particularly my journey to work. |

Why hasn’t anyone mentioned their family? I’d be lost without my husband and two kids. They’re the most important for me. And I can’t get started in the morning without a cup of black coffee. I wouldn’t miss doing the housework! |
