 were→was  a→an  their→his  hardly→hard  because后加of  seen→seeing  shouted→shouting  and→or  since→before  get→got 【解析】 试题分析:本文讲的是一个学生和祖孙两人在等公共汽车时遇到大雨学生和祖孙两一起撑伞等车的故事。 An old man together with his grandson,把握关键词together with ,就前一致,所以谓语动词又an old man 而定,所以were改成was。 根据前面a school boy,所以是他的手里,所以their改成his。 考查介词短语,根据because  +  句子,而because of  +  名词/what 从句,本句后面是名词,所以because后加of . 考查连词,根据固定句型:It was +时间段 + before 。。。,It is + 时间段 + since,所以since改成before。

Australia is sometimes called “the lucky country”. One reason is the wonderful riches under the earth: gold, silver, iron, coal and many other precious metals. Oil and natural gas have helped to build big industries. Victoria, the southeastern state, has a large number of industries. Oil is no problem for them.
