As we know, it was not easy for J.K Rowling to create Harry Potter. The idea for Harry Potter come to her while she was on a delayed train between Manchester and London. She wrote down her ideas on the back of envelope. She then continued to add flesh for the bones of the first Harry Potter story. During her creation, she had the extra burden of look after her baby and had to write with hand for a lack of typewriter. It was only in 1997 she completed the first Harry Potter story. After the first book, the success of each of the following titles was automatically. The fifth book sold about seven million copies the day when it was published. What makes the books so important are that they create a special literary bond between parents and children. In addition, much to the pleasant of the schoolchildren, Harry Potter has even become part of the school curriculum.

The town I live in is about to put cameras at all traffic lights to catch people who run red lights. It me of how many people I've seen who take the yellow light as a signal to go faster. I also can't why people don't move when the traffic light has turned green. Above all, there are those situations in which someone doesn't even that the light is red, and just keeps going. That is why so many accidents happen! All these situations make me about the purpose of traffic lights.
However, it's even more to imagine letting people make their own at crowded crossroads. Do the biggest cars get to go first? Who decides who goes next? I guess I do like the idea of a system to traffic. And I'll do my best to the traffic rules: to go, to be , and to stop when I'm supposed to.
It occurs to me that my have done much the same for me in of teaching me how to live. They have given me many lights: to get along well with others, to listen and talk to them, to help others, and to live with and purpose. They have also given me some red lights so that my doesn’t go astray (误入歧途): not to be greedy, to keep my temper, and to control my desires. And there also have been some yellow caution lights: to watch how much I drink, to keep control of my behavior, and to school regularly and work hard.
If I obey these rules, my life will be as as it can be. Just as I'm wise to pay attention to the traffic lights when I'm walking the street, I'm wise to pay attention to the "life " given to me by my parents.

Stop eating yourself stupid
We all know that poor nutrition can lead to bad health and even weight gain. 1. A recent study has found that what you eat could very likely play a role in how smart you are.
According to the study, rats fed a high-fat diet for 10 days showed signs of weakness and even had trouble finding treats that were waiting for them. 2. Actually high-fat diet could weaken our intelligence—but so can a calorie-restricted diet. The trick appears to lie in finding a nice balance.
Here are ways to achieve that happy balance and make you smarter through diet, exercise and improving your brain power.
3. Aim to get this amount of calories each day. If you need to drop a few pounds, take away the number you get by 400; consume that number of calories each day until you drop the weight.
Eat the right foods in addition to getting the right amount of calories. Aim for healthy foods that include good amounts of protein, fiber, fruits and vegetables, healthy whole grains, healthy fats and plenty of water. Well! Don’t forget to exercise your mind while doing so. Read a book. Try a new recipe. Do some puzzles. _4._
5. Aim for at least three 30-minute sessions a week. I like simple exercises such as walking, but anything that raises the heart rate is good. You may be fond of music too. Combine them! Some people like to listen to classical music such as Bach or Mozart, but rock music lovers will be happy to learn that this genre can help make you smarter as well.
A. Exercise regularly with happy mind forever.
B. Your health depends on your exercise plan.
C. Remember: All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
D. Now add “lack of intelligence” to the list.
E. You may be puzzled whether it has something with us.
F. These are all good ways to help increase your smarts.
G. Figure out how many calories you need to maintain your weight.
It was on her 14th birthday that her first book , In the Forest of the Night , was accepted for publication. It was a huge success gaining the attention of millions of young readers. At 16, her second novel, Demon in My View, also reached the bookstores. Several books later , the teenage author still works away in her room, surrounded by shelves full of dark tales about vampires(吸血鬼)and witches. Amelia Atwater – Rhodes is widely seen as America’s finest teen writer and was named one of Teen People’s “20 Teens Who Will Change the World.”
Born in 1984, she began making up stories when she was about three years old. “I never stopped and said, ‘I want to write’,” Amelia remembers. “I loved stories and created stories before I was old enough to know how to write them down.”
In her family, reading was basic and fun. “My parents encouraged me to read---- and to read anything I wanted, so long as I was reading,” she said. “They never restricted what I read. Later, when I started writing, they never criticized what I did or said I was ‘too young’. They never said it was impossible for me to achieve what I have.”
In her short but successful career, Amelia has tried different styles. But vampires were the first characters to really come alive in her work. From them she has developed a whole world, one which she always enjoys learning more about.
As a published teen writer, Amelia’s advice to other teens who dream of being authors is: just do it! “I believe anything is possible. Don’t give up your dreams just because you fear failure. Getting a book published is difficult, but if I can do it, others can too . ”
