1.us改为you 2.删除being 3.had改为have 4.is后加to 5.spoken改为speaking 6.in改为of 7.told改为telling 8.welcomed改为welcome 9.great改为greatly 10.hope改为wish 【解析】 试题分析:本文属于应用文,要求美国朋友参加英语周的相关活动,并介绍了英语周活动的相关内容。 1.us改为you 考查代词。 在as的后面省略了it is。 当状语从句中,当句中有it is的时候,可以把it is省略掉。 英语中分词greatly做状语修饰动词短语benefit from your presence。 (1)I look forward to see he again in the near future.(seeing) (2)After hear your sad stories, he will say some words that are nice and warm.(hearing) 2. (1)He agreed to reading my story and give me some advice on how to write like a real writer.(read) (2)My sister wantedˇget out of the shop as fast as she could.(to) 3分词。 (1)The assistant was clearly as embarrassing as my sister, but I just thought it was funny!(embarrassed) (2)On the box was a card say: “25cents each.”(saying) (3)My friend Nick told me a story about his experience back in the US, which was very interested.

It’s normal to wake briefly during the night. 1. But if you’re waking up during the night and having trouble falling back asleep, the following tips may help.

Stay out of your head. The key to getting back to sleep is continuing to prepare your body for sleep, so remain in bed in a relaxed position. Hard as it may be, try not to stress over the fact that you’re awake, because that very stress and anxiety encourage your body to stay awake.   2.

3. If you are finding it hard to fall back asleep, try a relaxation technique such as visualization(想象), or deep breathing, which can be done without even getting out of bed. Remind yourself that although they’re not a replacement for sleep, rest and relaxation still help refresh your body.

Do a quiet, non-stimulating activity. If you’ve been awake for more than 15 minutes, try getting out of bed and doing a quiet, non-stimulating activity, such as reading a book. Keep the lights dim so as not to think that it’s time to wake up. 4. A light snack might relax you, but be careful not to eat so much that your body begins to expect a meal at that of the day.

5. If you wake during the night feeling anxious about something, make a brief note of it on paper and delay worrying about it until the next day when you are fresh and it will be easier to resolve.

A. Make relaxation your goal, not sleep.

B. Put off worries and troubles.

C. Use a flashlight to go to the bathroom at night.

D. In fact, a good sleeper won’t even remember it.

E(涂AB). Also avoid screens of any kind-computers, TVs, cell phones, iPads.

F (涂AC). You’ll be much more productive and creative after a good night’s rest.

G(涂AD). A good way to stay out of your head is to focus on the feeling in your body.
