Mrs. Brown was walking near a playground...

Mrs. Brown was walking near a playground. She was a hurry to visit her four grandchildren. She missed them very much, because she has’t seen them for quite a long time. She was walking while suddenly she saw a ball coming in her direction. She was already in her seventy. Should she kick a ball to send it back and should she just go past leaving the ball where it was? Finally with greatly care she gave it a kick. The ball went straight out the goal. How wonderful it was! And she happened to have helped won the match. And all his four grandchildren were on the team of the winners.

1./\in , 2.hadn’t , 3.when , 4.seventies , 5. the, 6. or , 7.great , 8.into , 9.win , 10.her 【解析】1.固定短语,in a hurry匆忙地。故在a hurry前加in。 2. 根据上文“She missed them ...” 3.固定结构,…was doing sth. when… 故把while---when。 4. 7.固定短语,with great care小心地。 故把out---into。 help (to) do。 Brown,可知最后一句中的his---her. 1.be about to do…when… 这时(发生另一事) 2.was/were doing…when… 这时(发生另一事) (1).We were about to set out when it began to rain. (2).He had hardly sat down when his mobile rang. (3).I was walking along the bank of the river when I fell into it. 一边…”. 1.While his mother was cooking in the kitchen,the boy fell asleep in the chair.(在一个延续动作过程中发生另一个动作)2.He hurried home,looking behind as he went. 本题第3小题,固定结构,…was doing sth. when… 故把while---when。
