Once upon a time, there was a selfish9（自私的）man. 1. He could not share his things with anyone, not even his friends or the poor. One day, the man lost thirty gold coins. He went to his friend’s house and told him how he lost his gold coins. His friend was a kind man.
As his friend’s daughter was coming from shopping, she found thirty gold coins. 2. The girl’s father told her that the gold coins belonged to his friend and he sent for (派人去叫)him.
When the selfish man arrived, his friend handed the coins to him. After counting the gold coins, the man said that ten of them were missing. He said that he would recover the remaining（其余的）coins from the kind man. 3.
The selfish man left the gold coins and went to the court（法庭）. The judge（法官） then sent for the girl and her father. When they arrived, he asked the girl how many gold coins she found.4. The judge then asked the selfish man how many gold coins he lost and he answered forty gold coins.

About ten men in every hundred suffer from colour blindness in some way; women are luckier only about one in two hundred is affected in this manner. There are different forms of color blindness. Insects can see ultraviolet rays which are invisible to us, and some of them can even see X-rays. The wings of a moth may seem gray and dull to us, but to insects they may appear beautiful, showing colors which we cannot see. Scientists know that there are other colors around us which insects can see but which we cannot see. Some insects have favorite colors. Mosquitoes like blue, but do not like yellow. A red light will not attract insects but a blue lamp will.

In 1826, a Frenchman named Niepce needed pictures for his business .But he was not a good artist .So he invented a very simple camera (照相机).He put it in a window of his house and took a picture of his garden .That was the first photo.
