W: Students at Kramer High School have, among others, the following activities you can participate in, if you wish.

The school newspaper is published twice a month. In certain cases, the English department will give extra credit for material that is published. But I’m afraid you’re not paid for the material.

Volunteers to help at the local children’s hospitals can see Mr Sparks. He needs people who can read stories, play games and help young people with school work. If you have ever thought of being a teacher, here is the chance to try your skills.

Another community service opportunity is to help deliver meals to our senior citizens who cannot leave their homes. Sometimes they need help in writing letters and just having someone to talk to. Some of them have very interesting stories to tell and you just might get material for your essays or that article for the school newspaper.

The Green Club, under the direction of Bob Hill, will grow plants around the new library building. Anyone interested can sign the paper on the board just inside the main entrance to the library. Mr Hill will contact you so please leave a telephone number where you can be reached.
