This semester the sports meeting hold in our school was unforgettable. Our class attended the opening parade, for that we had made a lot of preparations. Our parade took on the shape of the letter “V”, which indicated victory for them. To our excitement, our parade performance was great success. As usual, the games started before the opening parade. My classmates attended a lot of event such as running, high jump and long jump. Due to the hard training the athletes had done before, their performances were particular impressive. My mother is sixty-five year old, that devotes herself to the whole family and us three daughters. Today I still remember clearly that there was the time when life was really hard in a remote mountain village. People there had a strong prejudice that girls should not go to school and stay at home doing housework.
