Each year, about 7 million tons of trash (垃圾) is found in the ocean. This trash consists of cigarette ends, medical waste, plastic, mile-long nets, etc... All countries have their own characteristics that make them stand out. One thing that visitors to the UK always notice is how good British people are at waiting, especially in queues. Everywhere in the UK, it’s common to see queues. People wait in long lines at bus stops, in shops and in cinemas.
Speaking to BBC News, Kate Bradley, a lecturer at the University of Kent, explained that queuing in the UK isn’t simply about having goodwill toward other people. It’s summer, and school-aged kids are finding all kinds of ways to have fun, from a trip to the pool or playground to playing games with smart phones.
