A child can be molded (塑造) in the way that you want him or her to be.For giving the best education to the child,it is very important to teach him or her in a positive atmosphere.1.So to let a young child have patience is very important.
To do this, first of all, educators need to establish a sense of trust for children.2.However,as the child grows,it becomes easier to introduce the practice of patience. It is often seen that a child is able to practice learning patience with a positive attitude.Teaching the lessons of patience to children can be milestones of development of different age levels of children.3.
If you really want to teach your kid these basic qualities, there are so many creative ways which might help you.4.If parents start telling them patience in their day-to-day life, children do catch it and implement (实施) it in their lives.Babies can sense, see and hear reactions.Small children are already very aware of their surroundings and more sensitive to actions and reactions adults make.
Parents can show them examples of enduring patience and introduce them to famous people.5.Teach them how to handle the situations with more patience so that they can become a better person later on.

Amber has a degree in business management and economics. She put her skills to good use when she spent eleven months in Cambodia (柬埔寨) through World Hope International as a volunteer working with a local micro-finance (小额信贷) company to help the poor get financial services.
Amber's first few weeks in Cambodia was busy and difficult as she tried to learn the language, understand the culture and get used to her new surroundings. Her volunteer service involved working with a local micro-finance company. In addition to writing plans, preparing international marketing materials and building donor (捐赠人) relations,Amber met with company clients.During these visits she learned how the small loans they received transformed their lives. She learned first-hand the benefits of micro-finance,which by providing farmers and small-business owners with affordable working capital (such as money to buy a sewing machine) helped them to earn their way out of poverty (贫穷).
“It never stopped amazing me when a client would show me a new home that was built because of a loan he received or the way a client's business had improved and thus allowed his children to be sent to school,” Amber said.
Amber recalled that one client called Paul walked her all around his house, pointing to what he had done with each of eight loans he'd received. He explained how every loan had improved his family's quality of life.Amber said he was one of the hardest-working men she had ever met.He had suffered greatly in the Cambodian Civil War and became disabled, but not once did he let it kill his dreams of realizing a better life for his family. His latest purchase,a sound system that he rented out for weddings and other parties doubled his income!

Pete Rose, the famous baseball player, whom I have never met, taught me something so valuable that it changed my life.Pete was being interviewed in spring training the year he was about to break Ty Cobb's all-time hits record. One reporter asked, “Pete, you only need 78 hits to break the record. How many at-bats(轮到击球) do you think you'll need to get the 78 hits?” Without hesitation,Pete said,“78.” The reporter yelled back,“Ah,come on Pete. You don't expect to get 78 hits in 78 at-bats,do you?”
Mr.Rose calmly shared his rule in life with all the reporters who were anxiously awaiting his reply.“Every time I step up to the plate,I expect to get a hit!If I don't expect to get a hit,I have no right to step in the batter's box in the first place! If I go up hoping to get a hit, then I probably don't have a prayer of getting a hit.It is the positive expectation that has gotten me all of the hits in the first place.”
When I thought about Pete Rose's rule and how it was applied to everyday life,I felt a little embarrassed. As a business person,I was hoping to make my sales meet the quotas(定额).As a father,I was hoping to be a good dad.As a married man,I was hoping to be a good husband. The truth was that I was an adequate salesperson,I was not so bad as a father, and I was an okay husband.I immediately decided that being okay was not enough! I wanted to be a great salesperson,a great father and a great husband.I changed my attitude to one of positive expectations, and the results were amazing.I was fortunate enough to win a few sales trips,I won Coach of the Year in my son's baseball league, and I shared a loving relationship with my wife! Thanks,Mr.Rose!

No poem should ever be discussed or “analyzed”,until it has been read aloud by someone, teacher or student.Better still, perhaps,is the practice of reading it twice, once at the beginning of the discussion and once at the end,so the sound of the poem is the last thing one hears of it.
All discussions of poetry are,in fact, preparations for reading it aloud, and the reading of the poem is,finally, the most telling “interpretation” of it,suggesting tone, rhythm, and meaning all at once.Hearing a poet read the work in his or her own voice,on records or on film,is obviously a special reward. But even those aids to teaching can not replace the student and teacher reading it or,best of all, reciting it.
I have come to think,in fact, that time spent reading a poem aloud is much more important than “analyzing” it,if there isn't time for both.I think one of our goals as teachers of English is to have students love poetry.Poetry is “a criticism of life”,and “a heightening(提升) of life”.It is “an approach to the truth of feeling”,and it “can save your life”.It also deserves a place in the teaching of language and literature more central than it presently occupies.
I am not saying that every English teacher must teach poetry. Those who don't like it should not be forced to put that dislike on anyone else. But those who do teach poetry must keep in mind a few things about its essential nature, about its sound as well as its sense, and they must make__room in the classroom for hearing poetry as well as thinking about it.
1.To have a better understanding of a poem,one should ________.
A. discuss it with others
B. analyze it by oneself
C. copy it down in a notebook
D. practise reading it aloud

A. Extend your life. B. Save your life.
C. Criticize life. D. Heighten life.
3.According to the writer, one of the purposes of teaching English is to get students ________.
