There lives 8-year-old boy name Sam in our neighborhood. He is suffering from a rare ill, which make him unable to move around. He wanted to go to the beach this year, but he wasn’t good enough to make such a trip. People living in our neighborhood decided to make his dream to come true. They bring some sand and seashells to his family’s backyard to make a beach for him. That they did surprised Tom a lot. You can’t imagine how exciting Sam was when he lay on the “beach”. See this, all of us were also very happy.

1. 8-year-old →an 8-year-old 2. name→named 3. ill→illness 4. make→makes 5. good→well 6. to come true→come true 7. bring →brought 8. That→What 9. exciting→excited 10. 故将good改为well。 6. 短语make sb do sth意为“让某人做某事”,动词为动词原形,故去掉dream后的to。 7. 而they did缺少宾语,故应使用what,what they did表示“他们做的事情”。故将That改为What。 9.
