M: It’s only 3 o’clock, Julie.

W: Oh, great. We have two hours before Jane gets home.

M: Jane has been under so much stress lately. She didn’t even have time to plan a birthday party!

W: Yeah. Everyone should get here in an hour. I told them all to park around the corner in the drugstore parking lot.

M: You’re so smart! All the decorations are starting to look good.

W: I tried to go to the store to get candles and a special cake with a woman that pops up out of the middle, but the candle was sold out and the woman was on vacation and everyone else is too tall to fit inside.

M: That’s okay. We still have music and dancing. Not to mention plenty of free drinks for everyone!

W: Yes, but it was lucky that things ended up that way. One time in college I threw a party for my friend and the building ended up on fire! Those were crazier days though, Jane’s party will be nothing like this.
