Tenzing left his home when he was ten to work and help his mother, who was looking after their 2-acre ancestral farm after his father’s death. He did temporary jobs for the first few years and then joined a Malaysian construction firm, where he learnt to drive, repair machines, work on the Internet and even speak English fluently.

“In those 13 years, I learnt everything—driving, mechanic work, and how to set up a small factory. This made me gain much confidence to do almost all jobs,” says Tenzing.

However, as his mother was getting older, on December 12, 2006, Tenzing returned to his hometown in Assam. Having visited several farms, he came to know that tea could be easily exported and many tea companies were buying tea; so he also decided to grow tea on his farm. But as his family had never grown tea, he had no idea how to do it.

Being a green hand in this field, Tenzing went to meet with many tea experts and followed their instructions. But whenever he sprayed pesticide (农药)on his farm, he’d get a headache and feel indisposed. So he started looking for alternatives. Tenzing did his research online and finally in 2007, he connected with people from a Canadian non-governmental organization and invited them to his farm, where they trained him. Thus, Tenzing started growing tea organically.

Today Tenzing has 25 acres of land, of which 7.5 acres is used for tea planting, and he grows almost all types of fruits and vegetables. His success inspired many, and farmers from other parts of the country also started coming to his farm to learn organic farming. He has trained about 30,000 farmers so far. Every year almost 100 tourists visit his farm from various parts of the world like the UK, Australia, Germany, etc.

1.What can we know about Tenzing?

2.Why did Tenzing want to grow tea on his farm?

A. His mother was getting older.    B. Tea sold very well at that time.

C. His land was best for tea growth.    D. He was tired of temporary jobs.

3.What does the underlined word “indisposed” in Paragraph 4 probably mean?

A. Unfair.    B. Motivated

C. Touched.    D. Uncomfortable.

4.What can be inferred about Tenzing’s farm according to the last paragraph?

A. It has been the biggest one around.

Last summer vacation, I worked in restaurant. One day, I was about to be off duty while three foreigners came in. Since it was my first time to talk with foreigner, suddenly my mind went blankly.     Getting a high grade in an exam depends partly on how much you can remember. So, improving memory is essential to success in studying. But is there anything that we can do about it? One solution might be walking backwards.

According to a new study published in the Journal of Cognition, walking backwards, whether doing it really or just imagining it, can boost (增强) the brainpower in the short term.

In the study, 114 volunteers were asked to watch a video in which a woman had her bag stolen. Then they answered 20 questions about the details shown in the video. Ten minutes after watching the video, the volunteers were divided into three groups. The first two groups were told to move forwards or backwards 10 meters while the third group was asked to stay still on the same point. The researchers found that the backwards-walking group got two more correct answers on average than the other two groups. This suggests that a relationship between the concepts (概念) of time and space is essential to the way our minds form memories.

When we walk backwards, everything we learn becomes strange to us. "This forces the brain to think in a different way—it's a rewiring and changes the focus," US neuropsychologist (神经心理学家) Christine Weber told Forbes. It almost always means that our brain needs to be more active and alert in the limited time. Naturally, our short-term memory will be improved significantly.

Apart from improving our memory, walking backwards also plays an important role in physical health, especially fitness. A study published in Journal of Biomechanics in 2012 found that backward walking puts less strain and requires a smaller range of movements from the knee joints (膝关节). Thus, there's less pressure and pain in the knees.

In addition, walking backwards, compared to forward walking, is more challenging. It requires you to use muscles and movements that you probably rarely use, making it a perfect way to change your exercise routine for greater fitness gains. Meanwhile, by making people put in extra effort, it naturally burns more fat and calories.

1.Which group of people perform best in the memory test?

A.The staying-still group. B.The forwards-walking group.

C.The imaginary-walking group. D.The backwards-walking group.

2.In what way does walking backwards benefit people's health?

A.It can make people slim. B.It can reduce peopled stress.

C.It can strengthen people's joints. D.It can make people more energetic.

3.What do we know about backward walking?

A.It follows our exercise routine.

B.It limits people's thinking time.

C.It directs our focus to important details.

D.It makes people's brain more active and alert.

4.What's the writer's purpose in writing paragraph 4?

A.To add another aspect of the topic.

B.To support the result of the research.

C.To sum up the main idea of the passage.

D.To provide some background information.

If you walked into a cinema recently, the chances are that you would have felt surrounded by superhero movies. It seems like a new one is released every week. However, once upon a time, there weren't any superhero films. All that changed with the release of the first Superman movie in December, 1978.

The first Superman comic book came out in 1938, and it changed the comic industry. Before Superman, nobody wore a cape (披肩) and nobody had a big logo on their chest. He wasn't the first superhero, but he started the so-called "Golden Age of Comic Books" and his look became the archetype (原型) of all superheroes.

Why did people take to Superman? One of the keys is "wish-fulfillment", his creator Jerry Siegel told CurtainUp. com. Indeed, Superman reflects many of the values and characteristics that people admire.

Superman lives as Clark Kent, a news reporter. However, he can become the superhero whenever he needs to. He can fly, lift any object, see through walls and melt steel with his eyes. He is selfless. He chooses to help the people of the Earth by fighting injustices against them.

Over the years, Superman has had different types of enemies and situations, usually related to the problems people faced. When there was a lot of organized crime in cities in the 1930s, Superman fought bad people. When young men went off to fight Nazi Germany, Superman's motto became "truth and justice". And after World War II (1939-1945), when African-Americans were terrorized by violent hate groups, Superman fought against racism.

Today, Superman enjoys global popularity. We all work or study and care about our families and friends. We see problems that we can't change. Through all of these, we struggle to do our best and also to find personal happiness. Superman is the guy we wish we could be. He can save the world and still get Clark Kent to work on time.

1.Why do people like superman?

A.The image of superman is cool.

B.It has always been a cultural tradition.

C.Superman is popularized by news reporters.

D.People wish to be powerful enough to solve hard problems.

2.What can we infer from paragraph 5?

A.Superman's mission changes with times.

B.Superman's archetype is a news reporter.

C.Superman has the power to solve all problems.

D.Superman went to Germany to fight Nazi in World War II.

3.What does the underlined word “these” in the last paragraph refer to?

A.Superman's heroic deeds.

B.Superman's extraordinary abilities.

C.What happens in people's daily life.

D.What people see in superhero movies.

4.Which of the following does the author support?

A.Superheroes do exist in our life.

B.All problems in society should be solved.

C.People find themselves expressed through Superman.

D.Superhero movies need promotion to be more popular.

My name is Lwazi Nzimande. I started my schooling at Thukeyana Primary Farm School in Underberg, KwaZuluNatal.

I had a favourite teacher in primary school. Her name was Miss Dube. She taught me natural science and human social sciences in grade six and seven, and had a way of pushing learners to be able to think for themselves. She made sure that each and every learner took part in every lesson. She used pictures, diagrams (图表) and other things to make learning easier and more unforgettable, moving at a pace that was suitable for all students. As a teacher, she showed patience, respect, open-mindedness, and reliability (可靠性). Now you see why she was my favourite teacher in primary school, don't you?

In my opinion, patience, respect, open-mindedness, and reliability are some of the things that all teachers should have and show. A patient teacher is one who understands that some learners need more explanation than others to understand something in class. He or she should always be willing to help learners. An open-minded teacher will go beyond what is found in the textbook. A teacher who is respected will find it easy to control a class. Respect is earned through what a teacher says to learners or how he or she deals with them in general.

Miss Dube often told us not to badmouth or make fun of others. She also did so. She never badmouthed other teachers in front of us. Also, Miss Dube never made fun of her learners. She thought making fun of learners in front of others would hurt them and damage their confidence.

Miss Dube was also very honest. From my point of view, that's also what a good teacher should be like. If she didn't have an answer to a question, she would let her learners know. This set a good example to the learners.

1.Why was Miss Dube the author's favourite teacher?

A.Because of her rich knowledge.

B.Because of her good appearance.

C.Because of her teaching style and character.

D.Because of her lifestyle and attitude to students.

2.What does the author think an open-minded teacher should do?

A.Pay close attention to every student's improvement.

B.Tell about something outside the textbook.

C.Avoid believing everything in the textbook.

D.Show great respect for her students.

3.What can we learn about Miss Dube from Paragraph 4?

A.She liked praising her students. B.She was very confident in class.

C.She got along well with other teachers. D.She set a good example to her students.

4.What does the underlined word “This” in the last paragraph mean?

A.Being a very patient teacher. B.Answering students' questions.

C.Being honest in front of students. D.Teaching students very difficult things.

Perhaps you’ve heard the old saying “curiosity killed the cat.” It’s a phrase that’s often used to warn people—especially children—not to ask too many questions. 1. In fact, research has shown that curiosity is just as important as intelligence in determining how well students do in school.

Curiosity can also lead us to make unexpected discoveries, bring excitement into our lives, and open up new possibilities. 2. For example, one day in 1831, Michael Faraday was playing around with a coil(线圈) and a magnet(磁铁) when he suddenly saw how he could produce an electrical current. At first, it wasn’t clear what use this would have, but it actually made electricity available for use in technology, and so changed the world.

3.On one level, this is because technology has become so advanced that many of us are unable to think too deeply about how exactly things work anymore. While it may be possible for a curious teenager to take a toaster apart and get some sense of how it works, how much do you understand about what happens when you type a website address into a browser? Where does your grasp of technology end and the magic begin for you?

In addition to this, there’s the fact that we all now connect so deeply with technology, particularly with our phones. The more we stare at our screens, the less we talk to other people directly. 4.Then we feel we know enough about a person not to need to engage further with them.

The final—and perhaps most worrying—way in which technology stops us from asking more has to do with algorithms, the processes followed by computers. As we increasingly get our news via social media, algorithms find out what we like and push more of the same back to us. 5.Perhaps the real key to developing curiosity in the 21st century, then, is to rely less on the tech tools of our age.

A.It is still not known why learning gives us such pleasure.

B.We are always encouraged to challenge our pre-existing beliefs.

C.Yet it’s widely agreed that curiosity actually makes learning more effective.

D.All too often we accept the images of people that social media provides us with.

E.However, curiosity is currently under the biggest threat, coming from technology.

F.In science, basic curiosity-driven research can have unexpected important benefits.

G.That means we end up inside our own little bubbles, no longer coming across new ideas.

If you’re DIY-minded, you can build your own solar power system. In some cases, you can even build your own solar panels (电池板), although the amount that you can effectively DIY home solar depends on how much you want to power. Making your own solar panel is a time-consuming process and requires some electrical skills. However, it can also be very rewarding-learning to build your own panel is a great way to understand how solarelectricity is generated.

Before you can build your own solar panels, you first need to understand how solar cells generate electricity. Once you’ve bought individual solar cells (they can be purchased online), the basic process for building your own solar panel goes like this: Prepare the backing for your panel. Many DIY solar panel builders prefer to use a wooden board as the base for their solar cell. You’ll need to drill holes in the board so that the wires for each cell can pass through. Wire your solar cells together. This requires some experience with electrical work. Use a soldering iron (烙铁) to attach wire to the solar cells and then link each of the cells together. Attach cells to your backing. If possible, attach each solar cell to the backing individually. This makes it easier to replace a single cell in the event that becomes damaged or is not operating properly.

At this point you have a functional solar panel that can produce electricity when the sun shines. However, a solar panel by itself is not useful. If you are trying to generate electricity to power devices in your home, you need to pair your panel with an inverter (换流器) that will turn direct current (DC) power from the sun into the alternating current (AC) power used in most modern electronic devices.

1.What does the author think of building DIY solar panel in the first paragraph?

B.To substitute damaged cells easily.

C.To attach cells to the backing tightly.

D.To pass through the wooden board easily.

4.What can be inferred from the text?

A.People with electrical skills have advantages over those without in DIY solar panels.

B.A functional solar panel can give power to your home devices directly.

C.How to pair an inverter depends on how much you want to power.

D.a wooden board is a must for your own solar panels.

Failure is probably the most exhausting experience a person ever has. There is nothing more tiring than not succeeding.

We experience this tiredness in two ways: as start-up fatigue (疲惫) and performance fatigue. In the former case, we keep putting off a task because it has either too boring or too difficult. And the longer we delay it, the more tired we feel.

Such start-up fatigue is very real, even if not actually physical, not something in our muscles and bones. The solution is obvious though perhaps not easy to apply: always handle the most difficult job first.

Years ago, I was asked to write 102 essays on the great ideas of some famous authors. Applying my own rule, I determined to write them in alphabetical order, never letting myself leave out a tough idea. And I always started the day’s work with the difficult task of essay-writing. Experience proved that the rule works.

Performance fatigue is more difficult to handle. Though willing to get started, we cannot seem to do the job right. Its difficulties appear so great that, however hard we work, we fail again and again. In such a situation, I work as hard as I can—then let the unconscious take over.

When planning Encyclopedia Britannica( 《大英百科全书》), I had to create a table of contents based on the topics of its articles. Nothing like this had ever been done before, and day after day I kept coming up with solutions, but none of them worked. My fatigue became almost unbearable.

One day, mentally exhausted, I wrote down all the reasons why this problem could not be solved. I tried to convince myself that the trouble was with the problem itself, not with me. Relived, I sat back in an easy chair and fell asleep.

An hour later, I woke up suddenly with the solution clearly in mind. In the weeks that followed, the solution which had come up in my unconscious mind proved correct at every step. Though I worked as hard as before, I felt no fatigue. Success was now as exciting as failure had been depressing.

Human beings, I believe, must try to succeed. Success, then, means never feeling tired.

1.People with start-up fatigue are most likely to           .

A.work hard

B.delay tasks

C.seek help

D.accept failure

2.On what occasion does a person probably suffer from performance fatigue?

A.Before starting a difficult task.

B.After finding a way out.

C.If the job is rather boring.

D.When all the solutions fail.

3.According to the author, the unconscious mind may help us          .

A.find the right solution

B.get some nice sleep

C.gain complete relief

D.ignore mental problems

4.What could be the best title for the passage?

A.Success Is Built upon Failure

B.How to Handle Performance Fatigue

C.Getting over Fatigue: A Way to Success

D.Fatigue: An Early Sign of Health Problems

One of my wonderful memories is about a Christmas gift.Unlike other gifts, it came without wrap(包装).

On September11th.1958.Mum gave birth to Richard. After she brought him home from hospital, she put him in my lap, saying."I promised you a gift, and here it is." What an honor! I turned four a month earlier and none of my friends had such a baby doll of their own.I played with it day and night.I sang to it.I told it stories.1 told it over and over how much I loved it!

One morning, however, I found its bed empty. My doll was gone! I cried for it.Mum wept and told me that the poor little thing had been sent to a hospital. It had a fever. For several days, I heard Mum and Dad whispering such words as "hopeless", "pitiful", and "dying", which sounded ominous.

Christmas was coming."Don’t expect any presents this year." Dad said, pointing at the socks I hung in the living room."If your baby brother lives, that'll be Christmas enough." As he spoke, his eyes filled with tears.I'd never seen him cry before.

The phone rang early on Christmas morning.Dad jumped out of bed to answer it.From my bedroom I heard him say."What? He's all right?" He hung up and shouted upstairs."The hospital said we can bring Richard home!" "Thank God.'" I heard Mum cry.

From the upstairs window, I watched my parents rush out to the car.I had never seen them happy. And I was also full of joy. What a wonderful day! My baby doll would be home.I downstairs. My sacks still hung there flat. But I knew they were not empty; they were filled with love!

I went to buy some traditional Chinese medicine on last Sunday. Just before leaving the drugstore, I noticed that some foreigners seem to have difficulty communicate with the assistant. I went over to ask if I needed. The assistant told me that she couldn’t make herself understand about how to boil the mixture correctly. Learning that I could give them the hand, they were relieved. Without some troubleI translated that the assistant wanted to say. Both sides expressed thanks to me. I was delighted to help other. More importantlyas a ChineseI felt proudly to see foreigners try traditional Chinese medicine.

There are many kinds of book clubs where members discuss a different book every month. What about dinner clubs, where people get together once a month or four times a year to make and eat dinner? In the dinner club that I joined, the hostess of the dinner club would prepare a big dinner first.1. This was the beginning of our dinner club.

There are two variations of a dinner club. One has a group of people who try a  different restaurant once a month2.When they all meet, they order and share different  dishes. This is a great idea, especially if you live in a big city where there are hundreds of  different restaurants.

3.One way is to have the hostess for the month decide on a type of food. The  hostess is responsible for cooking the entrees. The other members make different courses at  home, like salad and dessert, and bring them to the dinner club. For an even more exciting and interactive type of dinner clubs, the entire group comes together in the hostess 'kitchen.4.In this way the members of the group not only learn about different types of food, but also different methods of cooking.

The great thing about a dinner club is that it serves in many different ways. You can make the dinner club even more special one month by inviting partners.5.A stay-at-home mother can get a couple of other stay-at-home mothers together and start a children's lunch club.If you have a group of friends that love to get together and experiment with different types of food, the possibilities are endless!

A.They prepare the entire meal in a group effort.

B.Usually one member decides on the restaurant.

C.Then the members would begin discussing the food.

D.They are like-minded people with similar education level.

E.The second kind of dinner clubs has many different forms.

F.It offers regular well-organized social events in selected places.

G.Couples can get together for some food and great conversations.

In an era when fashion trends can change in a nanosecond(纳秒), people want to keep pace. They'll wear a look a few times and then move on to the next one. In reality, most people can't really afford this.

To meet this demand, online clothing rental services are growing in popularity. Shoppers can pay money online to rent the clothes they need, says the Fashion United website. The first company to put this idea into practice is Rent the Runway. The United States — based company has hit a $ 1 billion valuation. CEO Jennifer Hyman credits its success to the concepts of the sharing economy. She believes that the clothing rental business and the idea of dynamic ownership is a trend in the young generation. “The millennium generation(千禧一代)the consumer, is so ready to adopt this behavior.” Hyman told CNBC.

She also points out that working women make up one of the biggest consumer groups subscribing to their services. They want more clothes but they have limited space and ability to purchase new fashion. “Rent the Runway can be a solution for them,” Hyman told CNBC, “where they can dress for the job they want and save money and time.”

Although the clothing rental business has many advantages, people still have some concerns. Journalist and author Elizabeth Cline wrote in Elle that “Renting the clothes is not as sustainable as it seems.”

Take shipping, for example, which has to go two ways if an item is rented—receiving and returning. Cline writes that consumer transportation has the second largest footprint of our collective fashion habit after manufacturing. Then there's the burden of washing, which has to happen to every item when it's returned, regardless of whether or not it was worn. For most rental services, this usually means dry—-cleaning, a high— impact and polluting process. “They can produce hazardous waste and air pollution if not handled correctly, and they're often paired with stain removers that are more toxic than the solvents themselves,” she told the Fashion Platforms website.

1.What is the article mainly about?

A.The fast changes of fashion trends.

B.The development of the sharing economy.

C.What contributes to the popularity of online clothing rental services.

D.The advantages and disadvantages of online clothing rental services.

2.What is behind the success of Rent the Runway according to Hyman?

A.Different fashion tastes. B.Growth of delivery services.

C.The trend of the sharing economy. D.The financial pressures facing consumers.

3.What is the main problem of online clothing subscription services, according to the text?

A.Consumers tend to rent more than they need.

B.They could lead to other unsustainable fashion habits.

C.The shipping and washing involved are not environmentally friendly.

D.People can catch infectious diseases by renting clothes from sick people.

4.According to the passage, the author's attitude towards the rental service is

A.supportive B.indifferent

C.objective D.passive

Any foreigner who has tried to learn Chinese can tell how hard it is to master the tones required to speak and understand. And anyone who has tried to learn to play the violin or other instruments can report similar challenges.

Now researchers have found that people with musical training have an easier time learning Chinese. Writing in the online edition of Nature Neuroscience, researchers from Northwestern University say that both skills draw on the same parts of the brain that help people discover changes in pitch(音高).

One of the study's authors, Nina Kraus, said the findings suggested that studying music ''actually tunes our sensory system''. This means that schools that want children to do well in languages should hesitate before cutting music programs, Dr. Kraus said. She said music training might also help children with language problems.

Mandarin(普通话)speakers have been shown to have a more complex encoding(编码) of pitch patterns in their brains than English speakers do. This is because in Mandarin and other Asian languages, pitch plays a central role. A single-syllable word can have several meanings depending on how it is intoned.

For this study, the researchers looked at 20 non-Chinese speaking volunteers, half with no musical background and half who have studied an instrument for at least six years.

As they were shown a movie, the volunteers also heard an audio tape of the Mandarin word ''mi'' in three of its meanings: squint, bewilder and rice. The researchers recorded activities in their brain stems to see how well they were processing the sounds. Those with a music background showed much more brain activities in response to the Chinese sounds.

The lead author of the study, Patrick C. M. Wong, said it might work both ways. It appears that native speakers of tonal languages may do better at learning instruments.

1.When learning Chinese, a foreigner will find _____.

A.it difficult to learn music at the same time

B.it not difficult to learn music at the same time

C.it hard to master the tones required to speak and understand

D.it easy to use the brain to help him discover changes in pitch

2.Why does Chinese learning have something to do with music training?

A.Because there is the same difficulty in learning Chinese and music.

B.Because skills to learn the two make use of the same parts of the brain.

C.Because music training might help people with language study.

D.Because people who do well in Chinese study do well in music.

3.The underlined word ''intoned'' in the fourth paragraph can be replaced by the word ''_____''.

A.created B.spelled

C.seemed D.pronounced

4.What would be the best title of this passage?

A.Mandarin Speakers Are Smarter than English Speakers

B.Skilled Ear for Music May Help Language Study

C.Pitch Plays a Central Role in Chinese Learning

D.Schools Need to Develop Music Programs

In a foreign country, a man visited a local restaurant. He didn’t speak their language. He ordered something indecipherable off the menu. When the waiter brought him a plate of delicious looking fried noodles, he smiled and made an OK sign at the waiter with his thumb and forefinger linked in a circle. Looking angry, the waiter then picked up the dish and thrown it to his lap. What he did wrong, he wondered. Well, nothing is quite as it seems when it comes to using hand gesture in another country.

Gestures have been used to replace words in many countries, and they are often specific to a given culture. Gesture may mean something complimentary in one culture, but is highly offensive in another.

The gesture “thumb-up” is commonly misinterpreted. In English, it is popularly known as ‘thumbs up’, despite the fact that the action is commonly performed with only one hand. English-speaking Caucasians use it to signal ‘OK’, which is the same meaning as O.K. ring gesture. The two can in fact be used almost interchangeably.

Avoid using this gesture in Southern Sardina or Northern Greece unless you want to invite a fight. While American, British and Australian would use the thumb up to signal hitch-hiking to the drivers, this message will not encourage a Greek driver or motorist to stop to give them a ride.

There are no right or wrong signals, only cultural differences. Lack of cultural understanding will lead to disharmony among people from different cultures. When we know what to look for, such encounters with other cultures are actually very interesting, fascinating and fun. It is certainty a great topic to discuss over a cup of coffee and cakes.

1.What did the man in the first paragraph do wrong?

A.He misunderstood the waiter. B.He made the signal in a rude way.

C.He ordered something off the menu. D.He didn’t realize cultural differences.

2.What does the underlined word in the second paragraph mean?

A.Full of aggression. B.Full of admiration.

C.Full of complexity. D.Full of certainty.

3.What will happen if you make a thumb up toward a man in Northern Greece?

A.He will stop to give you a lift.

B.He will ask you to give him a HA.

C.He will get annoyed and fight against you.

D.He will make the same signal toward you.

4.What’s the purpose of the passage?

A.To tell stories about different cultures.

B.To advise us to have an understanding of cultural differences.

C.To explain the meaning of different gestures.

D.To persuade people from different countries to live in harmony.

With schools close in the UK during the COVID-19 outbreak, most children must now be homeschooled. Parents have found themselves not only having to balance work and having the children at home but also having to try and teach them. How can you keep your children focused while learning?

Nicola Anderson--Head of Customer Support at the UK’s leading online tutoring service My Tutor, provides new, up-to-date tips to hearten parents at this difficult time and advises how they can structure their children’s days.

One is to keep to a regular timetable so it still feels like your child is taking part in the school day. Ms Anderson said, “Children of all ages do well on routine and boundaries; schools provide this in abundance and it will make most children feel secure and happy if they can follow a similar timetable for their homeschooling.”

Another tip is to create an environment which is favorable to learning. She said, “The environment should be free from distractions and ideally near to an open window, to provide them with appropriate levels of fresh air and natural light. Some children find it comfortable and helpful to have quiet, instrumental music playing in the background to help them to focus, but this isn’t for everyone.”

Using technology to help with your child’s learning is also advised. Many schools are offering online classes and resources to help and companies are reducing or even not charging their fees during this time.

It is also important to keep physical exercise as a part of your routine. Joe Wicks, otherwise known as The Body Coach, has been keeping kids healthy with daily 10 minute workouts for children on his Youtube channel. Ms Anderson said, “It can be anything from running around the garden, walking the dog, a game of football or dancing around your living room!“

1.Who is the text intended for?

A.Students B.Teachers.

C.Coaches. D.Parents.

2.What may Nicola Anderson agree?

A.To allow children to adjust schedule freely.

B.To offer children peaceful study environment.

C.To recommend high-tech to online schools.

D.To combine routine with kids’ mental health.

3.What is the text mainly about?

A.How to improve homeschooling efficiency.

B.How to obtain online learning resources.

C.How to study attentively at home.

D.How to design a proper schedule.
