    We know that too much of the wrong kind of food can be bad for our health, but for some people having a food allergy, eating certain things can actually be harmful. Now it is seemingly affecting more and more of us.

    The UK's first fully solar-powered home, which removes the need to ever receive a gas or electricity bill again, has gone on sale, but it will cost you £1.2 million.

    Do you like shopping? For shopaholics in the UK, the place to head to used to be the “high street”.     Famous and respected Chinese poet Yu Guangzhong, passed away at 89 in a hospital in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Born in Nanjing, East China’s Jiangsu Province in 1928, Yu fled with his family at the age of 9 to Chongqing during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1931-1945).     My sister and I were taught at a very early age to write thank-you letters for birthday and Christmas gifts.     Every year, little black-and-white birds called pied flycatchers(斑姬鹟) travel from sub-Saharan Africa to northern Europe to feast on caterpillars (毛毛虫), claim a nest, and have babies. And they fly back a few months later. But recently, some flycatchers have arrived only to find their nesting sites occupied by great tits (大山雀). And those birds don’t just chase flycatchers away—they attack them, kill them, and eat their brains.
